[Sunrise]Meeting Agenda 20101214

Dear Sunrisers,
It is great to Tue. because we can meet each again !!!
This week, we have Klass to be our TME. His humorous and fluent English will have the meeting go through very well.
the theme he set is described as followed.
Economics teaches us all that each and every individual cares about is one's own interest.
This upsets me. Then I remembered a movie called "Pay It Forward", which tells the story
of a boy determined to do good to others, even strangers. So this topic is about unconditional
good will and good deeds. Have you ever done or tried to do something good to someone
you barely know?

Also, our long lost friend LEO has come to Taiwan, and will attain this meeting with his time zone difference.
LEO is welcomed to come back to Sunrise, becase he reminds the flavor of Tailand beer, the brand is named LEO as well.

Christmas party:
We will have the party on Dec.18th in Jack's house, if you are interesting in, plz come and contact with Nai-Ling or Coty.
the have the inviting information as followed while details could be seen in the attached file.
We wish your merry X'mas~
We wish your merry X'mas~

[Sunrise]20101207 Meeting Agenda

Dear all,

Time flies, it's almost in the end of 2010. it is time to retrospect what we achieved as promoted in the begging of this year.

So our TME, president Edward, has the theme"What have you got in 2010?". It would be a good topic for reviewing our achievement and then looking forward to next goal in the coming year.

Last week, we have speakers Mati and Edward. Mati won the award of best speaker with her interesting C1 speech. Edward promoted Flora Exp. with ppt slide. We are all benefited from the humor and diversity of speeches

theme: please prepare it for session master's introduction.

What did you get in 2010?
Time flies so quickly. It is almost the end of 2010.
At the first meeting of this year, I still remember that TME asked us to write down our New Year wishes.
Right now, it's time to ask ourselves, "Do you make those dreams come true? "
If not, why not utilize the last limited moment to accomplish them.
And please share with us your ways to carry out.
If yes, congratulations to you!
And please share with us your great achievements you got this year. No matter they are from Sunrise, work, or family.

[Sunrise] 20101123 Meeting Agenda

Dear Sunrisers!

To continue our tradition of couples taking turns as TME, we will have Brandon this time, of course, after Jack. As a talented master student, Brandon gives us an interesting theme: If you could invent one thing, what would it be? Let our imagination soar without limitation this time!! Looking forward to everyone's creative answer.
Also, we invited sweet Ruby, from NCCU, to be our guest speaker. Since students members outshone in the fall conference, we can always anticipate these potential and energetic young blood.
The Fall Conference has come to an end, but the inspirations keeps going on in my mind. I have witnessed compelling clubs all over Taiwan from which Sunrise can learn and benefit greatly. In the coming meeting, several adjustment would be made to bring Sunrise to an new level. Enjoy and  have fun.

Love you all.

We have enjoyed our meeting from the CNN couple TME from the last two weeks. I believe we all remember that the exuberant and funny Nai-Ling brought us exciting activity to activate the meeting atmosphere, where Sunrise thus always become the best place to laugh out our pressure.

To continue the fun meeting as the tradition in Sunrise, we have the humor future doctor, Jack, to be our TME. He would love to know "Who Do You Admire/Love the Most in Sunrise?" Don't be shy to share with us your affection since we are a club full of love.

Also, tonight will be a special meeting for having the talented lovely couple, Sunny & Hans, as our speaker; with great honor we have Justine, the Division H Evaluation Champion, from TTU TMC to be one of our IE and Caroline to be his evaluator.

Dear All,
Last week, Scott's meaningful sharing, Jack's super shooting, and many laughter. It might because of our humorous king, Coty Huang to be our TME. The long lasting laughter we had is still along with us, and never go away.

What a coincidence! this week, we have humorous Queen, Nai-Ling to be our TME. No doubt there will be many laughter as well.

"What kind of life you wanna have after retirement?"
It's a meaningful questions, though the life after retirement might be still far away for our present life.

Come to Sunrise and enjoy the hilarious atmosphere here

Tips to be a good Toastmaster by Edward Wu

After our senior, beautiful member, Athena Lien, brought us a successful model for TME last wek, we did not only have a wonderful meeting, but also learned the secrert of successful TME.
The followings are what I found from Athena's performance.

Rule 1: Well dressing ----- Because you are the toastmaster, you may be different from the one you usually are. Let the spotlight focus on you. Your dressing can help you draw the audience's attention easily.

Rule 2: Toastmaster is the king----- The main responsibility of TME is to host the meeting smoothly. In order to make this, you may change the rule we uasually had. For example, when meeting started late, but we have to end it on time. Athena just skipped the description for theme of every assignment-taker. Yes, you are the king of the meeting, make changes that can help you run the meeting smoothly, effectively, and successfully.

Rule 3: Let everyone speak------ Before Athena turned her control panel to the president, she invited persons who didn't speak during the meeting to share their opinion about theme. Let everyone have the chance to speak in public. That's the main purpose of TM.

Now, it's your turn to be the TME.

Looking forward to your excellent performance!

Edward Wu
